Seeing as she's the breadwinner, and the deal was that I get the van on condition I use it to take her on holiday, they sort of come as a bundle and my hands are tied.
So I couldn't possibly comment...

Once either becomes high mileage or needs an MOT I’d say careful consideration is required.

And If Putting up a large driveaway awning together for the first time doesn’t make the decision for you, packing it away again, will.
