I think post 2017 is higher VED.

Was there not a slot when Cali's weren't classed as a Motorhome and the VED jumped to silly numbers but it then all changed back again for new registrations.

I think the Beach Tour is classified as an MPV.

I also think this change might be why VWUK suspended sales of the Beach in Britain for quite a long period.

Pre 2017, April. Just normal VED rate. 2017 April on, until last year, the over £40K threshold applied with an up front charge and VED plus supplement for next 5 years then VED looses the supplement after that. supplement about £350per year.

Now California T6's can have 3 different VED rates depending on reg year/month.

DVLA check against the reg will show correct rate.
