Does anyone have the washing up bowl and fridge basket in their T4 Westfalia California?

I've asked around at various shows etc and haven't yet found any owners with these little extras and the original owner of my bus says he didn't get them when the bus was imported from the factory. Guzzle Classic Parts in Germany have the fridge basket in stock, but are mystified by the washing up bowl.

I think the bowl in the picture is definitely for the T4 as I think the sink and tap placement is subtly different on the T5, so a T5 bowl wouldn't fit a T4 sink.

Got the fridge basket in my van, cousin has one in his as well. Haven't seen the sink bowl in the flesh, but seen plenty of photos.

Can't help with the sink - early Westies have a round sink (and a shower!), so I got a bowl from poundland

How odd that my friend ordered 'our' bus direct from Hanover all those years ago and it turned up without fridge basket and bowl!

I have ordered a fridge basket from Gunzel Classic Parts in Germany. All very straightforward and cost about £35 with postage from Germany...quite a lot of money for a fridge basket, but like to have things 'proper', and useful in this instance.

Gunzel don't seem to have any knowledge of the bowl...perhaps it was just for some preliminary publicity shots and never actually provided from the factory.

I like a VW 'mission', so will continue with my search.

I see from their web site that they supply original (?) roof canvas; very tempting.

Just need to find a bowl now...if anyone sees one anywhere please give me a shout.

Since owning our van, ive picked up thermal pop top liners, kaktus covers for all seats and headrests, also pockets for wardrobe, and rear pockets at back of wardrobe and overhead locker.

Yup, welshwestie is right of course, definately a T5 bowl (didn't realise they were quite so different), but thanks for the link Claudiopinto, I will email them and see if they have T4 unit.

We've both the bowl and the basket in ours. The bowl is a genuine part. If it would be helpful I can get the part number off it for you.

Here's the magic number - 218033210170. It's a Westfalia part number but I'd reckon if you gave it your local VW van centre parts department they may be able to help you.

Sorry for the delay in thanks....have been slightly distracted with a kidney stone. If anyone requires technical details of surgical extraction of said stone and aftermath I am now an expert.

DRINK MORE WATER...luckily beer is mostly water!
