Amazing....dare I ask the price?

I have been in contact with seatskinz and they sent me the following price list (relevant to my Grand Cali):

Our design Ranges are:
Classic Design Range (full textile), price for 4-5 Seats is £357.12
Classic Design Range (1//2 Textile and 1/2 leather look) price for 4-5 Seats £552.78
Leather Look Design Range (smooth leather look material, perfo leather look material) price for 4- 5 Seats £552.78
Alcantara Design Range (Smooth Alcantara, Perfo Alcantara) price for 4-5 Seats £727.21
Exclusive Design Range (diamond stitching) price for 4-5 Seats £805.13
Alcantara IL Range price for 4-5 Seats £805.13
Individual Design Range, price for 4-5 Seats £805.13
Honey Comb &Exclusive 2x2 (Leather Look), price for 4-5 Seats £986.93
Honey Comb &Exclusive 2x2 (Alcantara Range), price for 4-5 Seats £1064.84
(all the above prices are inclusive of VAT)

I definitely don't want to go the DIY route. So that price seems reasonable to me

In Dec 2018 they were £1600 inc vat including the door inlays which were £90.

We're also looking at replacing dull and incredibly easy to stain standard VW seat coverings .. to give the van a little wow factor. THEN.... I had like the idea of leather ... but then know how my leather coach gets hot and sticky in the summer .... I never had a car with leather seats .... How are they in summer heat ... meaning when it's 30-40C ??

Couch? We have no problem with ours at all: obviously dark colours will be hotter when you first get in but they soon cool.

I also had the door cards covered aswell. The seats give a lot more support, I found I was leaning into the middle whilst driving before the retrim. See post 36 for more pics.

I have been impressed by this classic leather seat design supplied for a California Grande and asked DKS to price for the same design for my California Ocean in my colour choice.

DKS do not have a stock pattern to this classic design for the Ocean (only for the Grande) but have agreed to do it at an extra design charge.

I am planning to go ahead but thought I would mention this in case others thinking of leather also liked this design: as I might then be able to share the extra cost and/or achieve better terms.
