Leisure Battery

Hi. i don’t use my van Cali very often perhaps once a month, and the battery keeps going flat.
Do the leisure batteries have anything to do with the engine battery. And can / do i need to isolate the leisure batteries. I believe there’s an isolate box in one of the cupboard in the back of the van you can switch on and off. When would you need to turn on an off. When you’re not using the van much ??

The switch you are referring to is the Mains RCD protection for the mains when plugged into EHU. It has nothing to do with the Leisure or Starter batteries.
