lighter socket

Can anyone tell me the rating for the cigarette lighter sockets.
I am looking at getting a tyre inflator and they draw 15 amps.
Would this blow the fuse?

I think they are rated and fused between 15 and 20amps.
Although I have been using a cheap AA tyre inflator for the last 5 years 12volt on the Cali with no problem.
I would have thought any car tyre inflator would be designed to use with a vehicle cigarette lighter.

Cheers for that. I read a review on a Michelin inflator and it said it blew the fuse

I would assume any faulty inflator could blow a fuse, it may be that.

All 12 v sockets are fused at 15 amps.
