Lights in foot wells

Hi All.

We have recently collected our 204 DSG California, our previous 2014 SE California the California signs in the foot wells would light up when unlocking the doors.
Our New DSG appears not to have the same lights but has the California signs in the foot well, am I missing something or am I correct these do not light up.
Still finding our feet with our DSG, hate these dark nights!

Have you got the interior light in the on mode ?
If the interior light is off, they don´t come on.

Thank you Westfalia, I did not realise the interior light switch was off, only collected Friday, been very busy, work,Christmas Lights ect.
Still not had to much time to play.
This Forum is the best.

When checking for replies on my last couple of posts, it comes up on the right hand side N A .
Have I hit a area on my profile that I should not have done.

inside the panel there are 4 of 12v 286 dashboard bulbs. Just replace them.

Are they still delivered with halogen bulbs?

I changed mine into LED's. Much "cooler" to look at.
