Hello all

We are heading down west next week and are looking for nice campsites around Durdle Door and Salcombe. Anyone stayed this way and can advise please.

Hi Oli, We have stayed at durdle door campsite in the past ( http://www.lulworth.com/holiday/campingandtouring.htm ) It has spectacular views if you can get a sea view pitch but you will need massive levelling blocks as it is on a really steep slope, apart from the view the campsite is nothing special and full of 100's of statics.

Possibly a site to stay in off season. ..

We used rosewell at Osmington Mills. Again a bit of a slope so levelling blocks help.

They get good reviews on Pitchup.

We had a good time, there is a pebbly beach and pub in walking distance any you are right on the coastal path. I think durdle door is about a 5 mile walk or 10 mile drive.
