Thanks everyone, looking forward to making some new like minded friends. Just picked up a new thetford 165 porta potti from go outdoors for £69.99 thought this was a good buy with the Thetford chemicals for the flush and waste twin pack at £12 which was on offer.

Thanks everyone, looking forward to making some new like minded friends. Just picked up a new thetford 165 porta potti from go outdoors for £69.99 thought this was a good buy with the Thetford chemicals for the flush and waste twin pack at £12 which was on offer.

Just a thought - the Thetford most go for is the 335 mainly because it fits in the bottom section of the boot. The 165 would be too tall. Depends really on where you'd want to store it on a journey.

Thank you Bill, I was aware thought the larger loo would be better although there will be compromises.

Welcome Steve, the Oryx looks lovely!

But I would echo what Bill says, I think the larger PP will be a PITA in the Cali; you’ll have to keep it in the living area. Embarrassing when you slide the door open!

The smaller one is actually more expensive than the larger one, I’m not sure why; but if you can return yours to Go Outdoors the forum shop does a reasonably good deal on them.

Thanks Colin I have taken yours and Bills advice after looking into things in more detail and ordered the 335 from the club shop. Thanks for the very valuable advice, until I get the Cali it is always hard to judge.
