Malham, Yorkshire Dales

I would like to stay in Malham overnight... is there anyplace that allows camper vans in walking distance? I am looking for basically one night on the way home from the Lake District.

Not personally been but you only wanted one night and I think it's as close to Malham as you can camp.

There's a lovely little campsite in Kettlewell village but that's several miles from Malam I'm afraid so maybe not much use to you...?

I've parked up by the Tarn above the cove in the past. Watersinks carpark on the map. 30 minute, Off road walk to the top of the cove and down in to the village.

Or there is the basic campsite at Goredale Scar

The one at Goredale Scar is a fab location but the facilities very rough / non existent.... But still great for a night. Think the rather odd guy charged me a fiver.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Has anyone stayed at the Riverside Campsite that JW references? I am not sure if they take camper vans or not. I've read mixed messages on the possibility....
