Oh you're going to love "upgrading" to cruising along with the DSG box. I think the silky smooth DSG v manual box might have been discussed before on the forum.

totally agree, the DSG is such a joy to drive, I I just wished I switched to Auto sooner, no more manual vehicles for me

It's not that auto is always better, but DSG just suits a California. "Horses for courses". Helps to put you in cruising mode. Head out down the highway, ------------------ etc.
Our Golf GTI is manual, "Horses for courses ".
