My first post, so hello everyone.
I have a T6.1 Combi that i've started adapting. Porsche Cayenne 18way front seats, full length rails, extensive sound deadening, a wicked orange over red flip paint job, stealth flap, seat mounted sub, bright black plastic work, front bumper and splitter, full air and limo tints. I've also now got another pair of matching Cayenne seats on custom bases that can be fitted to the rails.
Next is furniture that is mountable on the rails rather than fixed, as the van has to do much more than be a mobile holiday home for me.
Next job is getting an air take off point behind the stealth flap so that I can pump up paddle boards, canoes, air beam tents and the like. Any advice on that gratefully received!

Welcome! but tbh I reckon you will get more knowledgeable advice from the T6 forum

Either way, sounds like a great project, enjoy!

Sounds like you have thought it out well. Removable furniture is a good idea. My first campervan was a white T4 x builders van. We had 2 windows fitted in the sides, clad the walls in wood. We added a floor with rails and a rock and roll bench seat. A couple of wood boxes fixed to the walls to hold a removable sheet of wood to make the seat into a bed. Foam pads covered in material to extend the bed. Added a porta potty, homemade curtains and screens for the front and rear. Carried a folding table with attached seats and a gas hob.

We loved it and made a lot of use of it. It was very basic but is was ideal for what we needed. My everyday vehicle and a practical van. Many years later I missed it so I now have my California. Good luck with your new van.
