New beach - roof help

Hi.

Picked up brand new beach today....curses didnt check roof with dealer due to driving rain/not wanting to get canvas wet.

Got back home and for love nor money can I get the roof up. 100% sure I've undone the right catches but it is totally solid when pushing the bar...no movement whatsoever.

Anyone got any ideas or do I need a 200 mile round trip in the am to get it checked?

Panic over. Must be new car seal. 2 x blokes giving full power released it. Cheers
