Ok so sorry about the tardiness, but we have had our California for about 4 weeks now. I have to say I didn't expect to use it quite so much as we have so far. Been in it every weekend so far and even a mid week stop over.

I do have one question though, power for i phones. Obviously when the engine is running they charge from the USB points on the dash, but when the engine is off so is the power.

Am i missing something, or is the only way to power an I phone is to sue the 12v point in the back. This is whilst using the leisure battery.

Thank you

Good that your using it and welcome

If your missing something so am I.

I use one of these plugged in the back as it switches off, so when not in use no draw on the leisure batteries and makes it easier to use the socket.

You have 4 12V sockets in the rear of the Cali that draw on the leisure battery. The one on the side of the sink by the 240v socket, the one in the boot, the one upstairs available when the roof is raised and the hard to reach one squashed between rear seat and O/S trim. I have had no problems fitting double USB sockets in each, giving me 8 USB sockets if needed all of which can be used together.

I also have one of those adapters that Mike @T6 CFO links to above. I use that plugged into the "Awkward" socket by the rear seat.

I have never struggled to charge up laptop, I-Phone, Dumb phone, I-Pad, camera batteries and power my Mi_Fi router all at the same time :)

@NOD Oh, and my apologies...

Welcome to the forum :thumb

Hey pal
In the pass door pillar there’s a 240 socket if you get an adapter you can use that off grid

I use the inverter socket with one of the plugs that has 2 usb and a 240v outlet, i think they sell them on here
