I changed my standard Davenport wheels upon delivery and not sure if I should sell them, or retain them for when I eventually sell the Cali, also changed the springs ie to the OEM 30mm drop before collection.

What would be your advice, sell all or retain, and then how much .

Any feed Bach would be appreciated.

If you look on Ebay £500>600 Not much different to new tyres only, really
If 235 tyres then worth more than ones with 215 ones.

I paid £475 for a set of 235s with delivery miles only to replace my Beach's 16" Claytons with just under 40,000 miles. I sold the Claytons with 2.5 to 4mm remaining for £200, so the real cost of my four new tyres was £275 with the wheels thrown in!

Really many thanks for your input, however no advice re retain or sell.

Thanks again.

To me it would depend on a few factors.

1) How long do you intend to keep your Cali?
2) Do you have ample space to store them?
3) What wheels did you put on your Van?

If they are not VW wheels available as an option on the Cali from the factory, I would keep the originals to restore back to the original look.

depends on how long you intent to keep the Beach.

Tyres age over time and may show cracking, take a number of years in dark storage. UV being the damaging factor.

The 6.1 will probably have a new design wheel as standard and the Davenports will be less valuable in a year or two.
eg Thunder design is about 25% or more cheaper than Davenport with similar tyres fitted.
