New (more) adventures begin!

TODAY our third California has arrived at the dealership (VW Risskov in Aarhus Denmark). This time a T6.1 Ocean 150 DSG 4M with a few extras. Soo excited to pick it up in a week!

We tested the T6.1for 3 days in Nova Scotia (Canada) invited by Volkswagen Denmark and were so pleased with many of the new features, that we decided to make the change. But we still love our "old" T6, and it will be a kind of emotional to say goodbye to that. But we keep the memories and look forward to plenty more with this new freind.

Awkward how these wonderful cars grow emotionally on you? But it becomes your home and the reason for many wonderful times getting around.

Wonderful, excited to hear how you find it! They do seem to have bought the Cali upto date technology wise inside the camper which is a great move. THe looks are still growing on me but I didnt like the T6 at first and now I even considered once facelifting my T5.1

Nice ! What kind of interieur did you go for in the end ? Didn't Iben had doubts about the dark interieur .

Thomas is always very kind and helpful We went for the grey standard floor and the lighter wooden kitchen (is standard in the Coast). But we both find the plastic trim and seat fabric quite dark inside, especially when you are used to the lighter interior from the T6. I understand why they have done it, but it is not our taste. Especially Iben is sad to let go of the one we have now – still trying to convince her, we agreed on changing the canvas to the lighter - as in the T6 - to get a lighter overall impression. We hope it will do. But besides that, I really look forward to all the new stuff. It's a massive upgrade from what we are used to.
