Just had 2 weeks in France in our new Cali (July 23 reg) and can confirm no leaks to the bellows despite some heavy thundery showers near Bordeaux
I am however surprised how easy the kitchen doors mark after just 2 weeks when the table is slid past the bed, should this be happening?
Also the n/s front window blind had a large crease in the first time it was used and has not disappeared yet
Apart from the above everything else seems to be ok

One of our front window blinds replaced under warranty because of this. They can crease easily though if not retracted careful.

It's not normal for the table to mark the kitchen. Do you have the fabric on the leg that stops it rubbing. Maybe share some pics?

Stopped using those. Too finicky, both the retaining clips and retracting back into the A pillars. I use an internal thermal cover now and not looked back. Table should not mark so I'm guessing as other say you are lacking the protective elements.

Our blinds have been creased from day 1, try not let it bother you

Both of the blinds on my 6.1 are badly creased. My van is going back (again) this week for more software issues. I will also ask them about the blinds. How did you successfully argue that the blinds should be replaced please?

I didn’t need to argue really. The passenger side one was like it from new and I asked for it to be rectified immediately after receiving the van. But I believe others have successfully claimed for them on their warranty as they shouldn’t crease so easily and can be argued to be faulty.

As you can see scratches and rubbing marks to the L/H door, and a pic of the underside of the table, doesn't appear to be anything missing off it20230831_110548.jpg20230831_110541.jpg

hmmmm - so thats the top edge of the table, so its the bottom of the table leg that is doing the damage. Odd. Can you feel it catch every time, or is it possible that the table got put back once with the table leg not clicked home 100% ?

Not the easiest of things to photograph, but you can see where the bottom of the table leg is contacting the top R/H edge of the door and causing the damage
I will see what the dealer makes of it

I've just checked ours and the reality of it is under specific circumstances any table would cause that mark. To replicate you have the cupboard doors in the closed position, fold the table back in it's furthest position possible from the catch (so as close to the passenger seat as it goes) and then close it while pushing on the table to have it under pressure. The foot of the leg will always clip the LH door when you do this, and I guess, eventually, cause that wear mark.

We don't have the mark because we close the table nearest the bench seat and only fully press it when it is close to the end catch so to be sure the pin has engaged - it can close without the pin in causing a rattle when driving.

Thanks for the replies
The table has been put away as carefully as possible only by myself, at the most it has been used 24 times
We did have the bench seat about 10" forward of the fully back position due to was was it the boot mind

That will be it tbh - with the bench forward you would not be able to avoid clipping that corner.

I was chatting to a T6.1 owner and it was suggested the T6 California’s are more robust than the T6.1 and the quality has declined and despite perhaps some improved features that overall the T6 is superior in robustness. (Maybe the accountants got at the 6.1?)

I have some similar damage to the LH kitchen door which I assume was caused by the table. Eurovans touched it up for me so it’s barely noticeable but I still know it’s there. If anyone comes across an invisible repair technique on the trim I’m all ears :)
