The new wrong van !!!!

The dealer could register the 140 as a demo and loan it to you allowing you to keep your money in your bank and only part with money when you get what you ordered. That way they get a bit of impossible to get used stock to sell in the summer and you get 3-4 months of depreciation free motoring.Your only costs would be insurance and fuel. That option is possible.
Great suggestion, there's always more than one way of skinning a cat. Making you purchase the 140 van just rings alarm bells! Whatever deal they offer do, do, do get it all in writing. If they don't, as people have said above, just walk away...

Good solution but is it all written on paper and signd?

What if you accidently tear the roof belows or break the top glas of the cooker...?
I would not feel 100% comfortable using it...

Well done, that was the best possible outcome.Enjoy it, plus you still have a new one to look forward to.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Seems a spec changes during ordering results in the vehicle spec defaulting to 140hp manual. Managed to nab a reserved slot so have approx 10weeks for the right spec to arrive. Can't ask for anymore so the garage has been more then fair and I have the use of the new van 140hp manual until then
