Newbie hook up problems

Hi, we collected our Cali early yesterday morning and have had a good weekend away in it but the hand over was not good. When I connect the hook up lead it is not showing on the control panel. I think I am missing something some where.

Have you turned on the switches in the cupboard where you put the gas bottle?

Doh, :doh sorry, that's all my in depth electrical knowledge used up.

Also worth looking for switches in the hook up end, they sometimes trip.

I had exactly the same problem. Mine was eight months old and had never been camped in.

I could get power to the UK socket on the side of the kitchen unit, but the symbol on the control panel was not showing.

After checking previous posts, it turned out that the plug in to the battery charger was not pushed in fully. It is accessed from the round hole on the left side wall beneath the sink cupboard. Remove the plastic disc, and you see a mains lead similar to a computer monitor. I pushed this fully home and everything worked.

It seems everything is powered by the 12v system other than the mains UK 230v socket.
