After disappointment yesterday (good forecast, average waves) but a lovely surprise on Tuesday (nothing forecast, it was actually epic), today is very nice too.

The view from the office:

And a couple from our trip away:

The view from our van in Nemina, Galicia:

Me in a slightly odd stance spraying a bit of water; that evening I had utterly stonking waves as the sun set

Where did you go?

Spanners is just well past it; way older than my Dad in fact; he gets a tad jealous of anyone that's still active.

Pass the beige blanket please.

You are one strange person Kernowlad, i like the way you call yourself kernowlad and you was not even bourne in Cornwall !!

Go and and take some more pics of you surfing as we all love to look at those soooo much

Stumped by that tricky word "born" are you?

Yes this is the WAVE section - why are you even looking at this section; you don't surf and never will. Why do you stalk my posts? Have you really got nothing better to do?

Cheers MKRW - Galicia really was lovely. Highly recommended.

Some big waves this week - surfed double overhead towards dusk last night and my shoulders are totalled (it was my second surf of the day) - from flat to big in three hours; amazing!

Got a right pasting and the paddle was enormous but caught a few absolute belters.

Plenty of waves recently including a spooky session on my own in the middle of a big estuary.
Lovely waves today and yesterday and both sessions with the missus who caught stacks of waves.
Big swell for tomorrow.

Cracking stuff, very jealous. :thumb

You're not far from some nice breaks - get out there! Used to nip to Porthcawl and further West quite often from Bristol. And N Devon too.

And you have some cracking MTB trails, the Beacons and other lovely stuff nearby - I really like the area you live in. And we bumped into Sporty Spice there once when on a little walk!

We just get Hugh Grant (always looking a bit pathetic) and Dave Cameron down 'ere! :doh

Quick break today so did a cliff/coast run instead - some solid waves coming in but pretty much impossible to surf. Tomorrow looks very very promising....!

The Cribbar came to life last week.
And i spotted a Cali Ocean down on Fistral Beach.

It's a long story, wouldn't be allowed these days.
Those were the days :D :D :D

I wound him up on the old T4 forum years ago. Said I was looking at buying a holiday home around Polzeath. Can I have some pros and cons...
What a thread that turned into
