Noisy struts

Hi advice please.
We have a new Beach, had a few trips out and have found after the roof has been up a few hours and the bed raised when we pull them both down the struts are making a squeaky noise and are a bit jerky that's the bed and the roof. If I just push them up and bring them straight back down they are smooth and quite. Today the tailgate was up for a few hour and that was the same when it was closed. Anyone else had this happen, is it just because it's new and needs more use or should I be concerned ???

My roof bed does the same sometimes. Tailgate is quite. Probably just newness. Shouldn't worry. Give it time to settle down.
