Outlet pipe in water tank

Hello, had new Ocean 9 months ago and no problems except recurring problem with outlet pipe in water tank becoming detached from the outlet pipe. I’ve tried tightening a plastic garden tie around the housed pipe but it comes off after a few minutes use of the tap. I suspect it could be more to do with the pump not sitting correctly on the floor of the tank but I”ve already got abrasions on my arm from trying to access what must be the most awkward part of the van!
Any suggestions for a pernanent fix will be much appreciated!

Sorry, my terminology..i mean the short plastic pipe on the right hand side of the water tank, on which the tube from the pump is pushed to enable supply of water to the sink tap. Thanks
