PAINT CODE LOCATION

The best place to check for these is underneath the steering column, the front of the driver's seat base or on the driver's door edge. If all else fails, you can call your local VW dealer with your registration and chassis number and they'll be able to help you.

When I needed the paint code for our T6.1 Beach I had to call the dealer and they told me there was no code on our van but they were able to tell me the code…every other vehicle I have owned has had the code on somewhere the vehicle. Strange, but is it to just to save VW the cost of a label?!

There may be a sticker on the inside cover of the vehicle manual. (There is with a T6)
Alternatively tinternet search / Ebay etc will throw up colour codes

I recently lightly scratched the glossy black wing mirror cap which comes with the Zdition pack on a T6.1 California Beach. Does any one know the paint code for this?
As it’s not the main color on the van, it is not listed separately.
