My T6.1 Coast parking sensors seem to have given up. Over the past month, the error warning came and went away after the van was restarted.

yesterday, the warning came on, then went out after 30 mins, then came back on again - all on the same drive

any ideas what this might be? Known fault?

Is there a reset procedure?

1st issue on my 6 month old van.

Hi,

Are any of them working ?

Any physical damage to the sensors? Stone chip on one of the front sensors at all?

Do you have any error msgs?

All sensors look fine. I have a dash message which says "error: park distance control"

Found this on another forum...............might help ?

1.turn on ignition(engine not running)
2.select reverse
3.put your ear right up to each sensor in turn
4.working sensors make a clicking sound, dead ones do not

The clicking noise is quite faint so you need to get close!

Please don’t try to get out of the vehicle when the engine is running and in reverse!
use the aid of an assist or simply press the “p” button on the dash to engage the sensors (no need to have the vehicle in reverse)

edit: just for clarity and to make sure no one mis reads the post above
