From my research both Green Patio Gas , and Red Propane bottle are both Propane hence work better in winter , so don't think any difference between the 2 bottles ??
Do members have any preference to use either patio gas or Propane ??

But I often wonder why they don't bring out a ISO Butane / propane mix which is far superior in winter below freezing conditions .
Iv used the Small Red primus Power Gas, which is ISO Butane / propane MIX , NEVER ever let you down ..

Have you ever tried shaking a 11Kg gas bottle?
11kg ?? Iv not mentioned that size ??
I refer to calor propane 3.9 kg
Or patio gas in 5 kg .
The post is about doing Iso Butane bottle not bottle size ?
Not for inside camper , but when used outside of van , I do lot winter fishing , some places cannot get camper right to edge water , so also use a tent

Good, Gases cannot be mixed in refillable containers without the vessel being flushed and pressure tested prior to refilling, this would make it prohibitively expensive for domestic use.
Mixed gases for domestic use are sold in disposable small volume containers.
If you want mixed gas then look at a cadac dual Pak. Mixed gases separate when stood hence "shaking"

I prefer to cart around a second Campingaz 907 as it serves ad a reserve for the fixed bottle ad well ad running my outside Cadac.
So the question of which gas to use doesn’t arise.

Good idea , exactly what I do at present .
Only problem arises is if weather cold , say below 4 degrees think struggle get heat .
That why looking into iso / butane gas performs excellent in extreme conditions

Or a twig foldable aluminium burner 6 x 6 inch square
Coleman unleaded double verygood , only down side is pan supports , like ice skating ring .
Have hold on tightly to handles , lethal !! :upsidedown

I’ve camped in just below freezing temps and had no issues with gas pressure. The gas cylinder is inside and while the gas cabinet isn’t as warm as the main living area, a fair bit of heat will bleed in there. Your water will freeze before the temp becomes an issue for butane…..
