Plastic Catch on Sliding Drawer has snapped off...

As per title, this has cracked and come away from the metal lever beneath.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I am not sure if mine has just become brittle with age, of whether I have too much tension on the catch to release the drawer.... Do your release catches open with a small amount of effort or is a more substantial yank needed?

If you have replaced yours, is their a modification to stop the same thing happening again?

Any info gratefully received

Which drawer, the drawer in the cupboard under the sink or the drawer below the seat?

Do you still have the bits?
If so use a good glue to bond the bits back together.
I've found the catch very unpredictable.
Sometimes working smoothly with little force and sometimes requiring quite a pull.
It's not come to pieces though as you're describing.
