Pop top not working

Hi i am traveling in Guatemala And the pop top stoped working when in was lifted i lowered mechanicali with the screw on the back of the control panel then drove with some ropes arround the roof and disconected the panel after at nigth i conected the panel and worked again but again it did not let me get down the roof so i did it again with the screw,also i canot have the panel conected because it keeps beeping roof open,
I have 15 days more in Guatemala in. The jungle, somebody knows what can i do,
Ithing the problem began because one of the sprigs doesnt get to thevery end and after a few hours it descents and dislevels the roof, last time i put a rope to the. Spring so it doesnt goes back and lowers the roof,,
Any heló be apreciated so i dont have to tie the roof and sleep in hotels and drive 80km/hrs or lees
