I have two 20AH-12 volt powakaddy golf batteries that can no longer power my golf trolley for 18 holes. They lose power after 17 holes or approximately three hours use. I wonder if anyone could suggest a use for them when camping with our California. It seems a shame as they are useless for their intended purpose and are going to be disposed of at our local dump.

all my spare batteries of similar size i have from work are taken to the local scrap merchant you should get a couple of pounds for each.
they would certainly power led lighting for a week, but in my opinion too large to be of any use as they are not holding charge
regards dave and lisa

Thanks Dave and Lisa That's an idea to power LED lights on an awning. If the batteries can carry a golf buggy up and down a golf course for up to 4 hours it must be able to power led lights for ages. The batteries are not that big, not like the original powakaddy batteries, about half the size. It would also save in drilling holes in a permanent installation
