Pozzallo, Italy to Malta and.... while in Malta?

In a few weeks time I am going South through Italy to Malta. Pozzallo to Malta on the ferry (1hr and 45min). Have anyone done that and could share the experience please? How about a dog... allowed on deck or stays in the van? Any tips how to manage the stay/camp and travel in Malta?

Also, not sure if my 2023 MY Coast has a menu option to switch the headlights to LHD traffic? Thanks.

Ok, maybe Malta is not on the list of club members. I will be the first then. but, how about an Island of Elba? It is in Liguria and easier/closer to get to it. Anyone visited and have comments? Napoleon fans?

Malta isn't very big....perhaps you just need two sites, one in Malta and one in Gozo.
Take a Scooter or catch buses from your site. However my experience was a long time ago.......
I have looked myself at returning with my motorhome but think it is more a package holiday destination. (I lived there 1974-1978).
