Yes, directly into the awning rail as you describe.We bought a second hand x-tension and tunnel which came with a Kaydor strip and a figure 8 strip. We tried fitting this to our factory fitted wind out awning but this meant the sliding door won't open and close easily.
Should we fit the tunnel directly into the awning rail, within the windout lid which would have be be wound out slightly to expose the channel then wound back in trapping the fabric? Thanks.
