Raining in when cooking!?

We usually have the side (sliding) window open when cooking in the van but when it rains, the water comes in. Has anyone got any gadgets/ideas to stop this - not cooking and/or cooking outside are not options! I have had a bit of a search online and found something called an 'Airscreen' that fits into an awning channel on the German brandup site. Not sure if this is available here or if there are better/easier options.

Can't remember seeing them in the uk Brandrup brochure

Would have been great for the club to have one and use it at the next club meet!! :cool:
 
Presumably we're talking horizontal rain here. Could try turning the van around :).
