Hey all. Interior trim loose of rattling on my T6 Cali and it’s driving me insane.
can anyone recommend where I would take it to get sorted. I am assuming to niche for a local car garage, VW dealer clueless and not right for body shop so I am at a loss.
I am in new forest near Southampton.
Many thx, James

Hi James,

where do you think the rattles are emanating from ?

common issue if the sliding door table not clipped in correctly ? ( Remove and refit)

...Or the table at the fridge not pushed in far enough.
Or the rail of the kitchen doors loosened.
Or the bench is in an in-between position, so that the lever is rattling
,...
Now once you get equipment in, there's another puzzle to solve. Fitting the right sizes of soft and hard boxes is pure fun.

Best to hire a driver and go sit at the back for a while to find out ;-)

Have tried all these obvious things. Coming from the sliding door (rear of it).
I think the clips are also Brocken (different noise) on rear tailgate trim. Need a mobile VW guy that can come round!

re the tailgate : Have you checked you have two rubber buffers attached to the tailgate (one either side of the tailgate, visible when open , about halfway down the panel on the outer edge)
they prevent the tailgate from rattling When adjusted properly

Thx Perfectos - good idea. Yes they are all present and correct.
I swear its coming from the rear of the sliding door.

Do you have an awning fitted? Could be that. I had a similar rattle recently that I thought was coming from the sliding door. Awning just needed winding in tighter

Try having a passenger get close to the rattle when you're driving, it might help locate the problem area more closely.

Thx - yep tried that, rear of sliding door. Think might be door card.
