I wonder if anyone has ever had reason to expose the mechanism that enables the backrest to fold down in order to use the downstairs bed.
This is on a T5, and the handle mechanism has disintegrated at some point and it has had a temporary repair that has become permanent. However it is not pretty and does look as though it could fail at any time.
It does work but I would like to see if it was possible to install the newer handle arrangement that comes up between the two cushions instead of the pull arrangement that currently comes out at the rear and at the top of the backrest.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Also the folding headrests are quite often almost impossible to fold down or up. Anyone else experienced this?
