Rear diff box oil leak

Just had two new front tyres fitted (outer edge wear, tracking was out front and rear) and they noticed a leak in the rear diff box.

Getting it done when it goes in for the roof paint job. Hope it's okay to use until then...

Having a Beetle as a courtesy car; should be fun!

I was going to respond.....

with a tale of mystery oil splashes on the front of our bus after a trip to the West country.
Lots of head scratching as to how and where it had come from??

We were following (and admiring) a T5 Cali 4Mo for a while.

When I read your post I wondered if he had a similar problem?

.....but I decided against it as it wasn't much help.
