Rear door tailgate pull handle - annoying

Does anyone else hit their head on the plastic pull handle when the tailgate is open?
It has been pretty annoying so I have glued a couple of neodymium magnets to the inside of the chair storage area, and another one to the plastic pull handle that hangs down. This holds it up out of the way whilst still making it possible to use - if we ever need to?
It is holding so far, but i am ready to add some Sugru (moldable silicone rubber) if the magnets come loose.
Next job is to finalise a solution for using the T6 bed as a sit-up day-bed, for having coffee in bed in the morning...

Never had an issue with the Handle, but I do love a good Neo magnet hack.

In our case it was annoying (the boss couldn't reach it !!), until our 12 month old Irish Setter pup decided he liked the flavour and chewed it to death (thankfully the bits went straight through him).
We cut it short and pushed the rest into the recess in the tail gate.

Hit my head on the tailgate a few times! at least the pull handle doesn’t cause pain……
