The squirter on the rear screen of my MY17 Ocean is not working. Front ones are fine. I reported it when it went into service and the tech on the video report said the reservoir for the rear washer was empty and now he had filled it, it was working.

It isn’t working and I can find nothing in the manual about a rear washer tank. In this weather it is quite inconvenient not to be able to wash the rear screen.

Am I missing something or is there no separate screen wash tank for the rear?

1 tank. The tech is talking shite.its the same tank for front and rear on most modern vehicles. I think only one washer motor too with a little shuttle valve that operates to pump water to the rear wash jet. Does the motor run when you operate it? Is water running out anywhere. Could be a pipe off or blocked?

As @westfalia says. 1 washer reservoir. I dread to think what the technician has filled and tested.

I had that when first got van, something to do with pipe that goes to the rear from the one reservoir

Mecanics should work on a car and know the type of verhicle they are working on instead of shooting video’s .

Which service engineer does this mechanic work at?.....is definitely one to avoid!!

I had the same problem, under warranty.
There is only one wash reservoir.
Left my Cali with the dealer for two days as he said the kitchen had to be moved to get at the pipeline and find out what was wrong. In the end I understand they threaded a new pipeline from the pump to the rear wash nozzle. Problem sorted.
