Hi everyone, thinking about buying a collapsible electric kettle for when we are on hook-up. Any recommendations?! Would like one that’s reasonably quick to boil! Thanks in advance! Marianne

Hey - this may be no use at all, but we went for a cheapo electric kettle ( about 1.5 litres) which is small, but enough for 2 mugs of tea plus a bit, less than £10, and a foldable Outwell kettle for the hob, which is 2.5L. We figured electric kettle elements normally fur up a fail, so why spend £30 or so on a foldable one, which even when folded is still quite big.

Concealed element in this one. Can't speak from personal experience but good reviews and popular amongst forumites. 3-4 mins to build a litre according to reviews.

We tend to want kit to have more than one use to earn its place in the van. So having 2 kettles would be at odds with that position, but I get the reasoning when on hook up. Maybe I could be converted
