I think they are fine, simple to put on and remove, take up no space in door pockets and if correctly fitted no gaps at all, I would pay VW for replacements.

Darry, I totally agree. The VW ones are very easy to fit, work well and the silvered finish blocks the light very well. Easy to store in the under seat draw as well!

I don’t get this, has to be total blackout. If I’m asleep my eyes are closed and I don’t know whether it’s light or dark. If we are in a private pitch we rarely even put the windscreen blind on.

Make some and choose some bright colours I have just made these from an old table cloth and bought magnets from amazon......

If you don’t have the inclination or skills you could find a local seamstress/dressmaker.
