Replacing 17" wheels with 18" wheels on a 4motion

Hi all,

Is it ok to swap my 17" wheels (winter tyres) with 18" wheels (summer tyres) routinely each year in readiness for each season?
Do any settings need changing, and does this need to be done by VW?

If you go with slimmer profile tyres to keep the circumference about the same I don't think you or VW need to do anything.
