Replacing speakers in California Exclusive

Hi

I'm looking to replace the speakers on my california exclusive, nothing too fancy, wasn't planning on amps or anything. Anyone done this and have any advice/recomendations?

The door speakers are 17 cm I think, not sure on the depth available, need to check. The ones in the roof seem to be a bout 12cm.

I did my front ones, the dash ones and the doors.
Haven´t got around to doing the rear ones yet.

I´ve forgot what make mine are but they´re loud, coupled with an amp fitted
under the seat.
It´s well worth doing.

I seriously wouldn’t waste your time and money.

I replaced my head unit with an Alpine a while ago. My intention was to follow on with speakers.

We now just plonk the Bose mini on top of the dash and Bluetooth to it.

Infinitely better than and speaker upgrade.

We replaced the roof and door speakers on our Cali Ex. I recommend using some Dynamat above the roof speakers. We greatly improved the sound quality, but are still looking for a good replacement for the dashboard tweeters.
