RNS 315 Sat Nav problem?

Just about to fit RNS 315 in my van.
I have heard that the Satnav sometimes has a misfuction with it in that it does not always complete spoken instructions.
Has anyone had a problem with this?
My neighbour has offered me a 315 out of his 2014 Sharan but dont want to buy it and fit it if there a glitch with the new unit. Rather stick with my portable Garmin
Any ideas or experience please?

Hi,
How does the Satnav quality compare with a TomTom or Garvin.?Perhaps the issue my friend was talking about was quality of instructions- not being as clear.

Instructions are as good as on garmins I've used.
