Has anyone had any of the upper bed wooden slats split horizontally along part of their length where they were bonded together at manufacture ?

If so how did you fix them ?

Can’t close the sliding hatch all the way as it seems to be getting caught in its side tracks, anyone got advice on how to resolve ?

Thanks

Can't help about the slats.
The Hatch though.
The rear part of the visible track only has a bottom runner, whereas the front section has top and bottom.
However, lift up the mattress and check nothing is fouling the hatch where it slides under the mattress when fully open.
Also check the runner at the side of the hatch opening both sides for any obstruction.
I put my money on something jamming the hatch under the mattress.

Thanks, WG, helpful as ever, appreciated.

Issue with the hatch was that some of the slats on one side had come out of the runner, fixed now.

Spilt bed slats, fixed with Gorilla wood glue & Gorilla tape.

Going to change the control unit knob with the spare obtained from the club shop a few years ago, as the original feeling a little suspect.
