Roof Maintenance?

Is there anything specific that needs to be done to the elevating roof mechanicals maintenance wise?
I ask because mine has started to creak when being raised.
Sounds as if the creaking is from one of the arm joints/pivots.

No - nothing forthcoming from VW
I just use some PTFE spray on the joints occasionally.

Mine started sticking a bit on lowering as @WelshGas says wipe some PTFE or I used Silicon spray in the tracks and on the plastic sliders - solved the problem so now I do as part of regular maintenance
