We know contact between Alloy and steel cause corrosion on our roofs, so would that explain paint problems on Alloy wheels and sticking to the steel drums when trying to remove the wheel. This of course affects all manufacturers but I would thought there must be a simple solution to have some barrier between the wheel and steel drum. Steel wheels don't stick to steel drums, do they ?
Put some Sportline Alloys on mine today and all four of the standard alloys where stuck on stiff
Gave the hubs a going over with the wire brush and put a thin layer of copper grease on the mating surfaces, hopefully won't give me any issues in the future
