Is there anyway of increasing the POI’s, as only have three, petrol, car parks and Resturants, would like to add camp sites, hotels, etc, and what is near me option. Many thanks Maurice
This a copy of a note I did a while ago and keep for my own reference.
How to add Points Of Interest (POI) to Discover Media Satnav
I should imagine there are other ways to do this but this is how I do it. I imagine many will do so by using an SD card.
Firstly you need the POI files.
I currently have the following imported but there are many more and I tend to select ones in XLS Format but others may have better suggestions, it works for me.

C&CC

Wild Camping

Next thing I do is login to Carnet (You will need to register if you have not already done so) use a computer for this stage rather that a tablet or phone.

Once logged in you will see amongst other things
"My Points Of Interest"
Select My Points of Interest and it will take you to this screen
This shows the points of interest I have added. Yours will be blank.
Select Add New List and on the next screen you can then navigate to where you saved your POI files and add a graphic which are normally available with the POI files. (This is the image you will hopefully see later on your satnav).
Go to Satnav - Select Settings.
(This is how my screen looks)
Select Manage Memory
Select Retrieve my POIs (online) or presumably update My POIs (SD/USB) if using SD card. Not done it myself.
Follow on screen instructions
At the end of the process go to above screen and select categories for POIs.
NB: There is a limit to how many categories you can select.
On your travels you can then touch any of the images you see and have the option to navigate to them. We quite like checking out the Wildcamping ones as we pass them.
