HI.
We started life without a roll out awning and used a sun shade. Quickly saw the benefits of one, especially whens its raining so retro fitted one.

Anyway if you want a sun shade then you need to purchase the slide in connector. Available from +++++++++++++++++++++++ or VW. Then have a look at www.funkyleisure.com for sunshades. Just kampers do a sunshade but mixed reviews as not completely wind proof.
