Scarey tunnel, Versailles .

Has anyone been down these tunnels. The satnav sent us down them.
Maximum height is 2 meters, so I thaught we would be OK at 1.99!
But as we entered I had to duck. We were so close to the roof.
And the signposts seemed even closer.
I was wishing I had chosen smaller wheels,or let the tyres down a bit.

Here was the entrance, to late to turn back. I wouldn't have made it if I had had the bikes on the back

Normally, not always, the Height measurement errs on the side of caution by 1 or 2 cms.
