Scraped the awning cover

Nasty scrapes down the side of the awning casement when parking yesterday (caught on some signage). Luck it was just the awing casement really.

Any advice on what I can paint it over with - it's a black awning?

I'd vinyl wrap it...

Either that or normal matt rattle can but I suspect an easier job with vinyl.
