Service with discount

Happy to report my California has had a full service today complete with timing belt etc at Liverpool VW van centre.
Not cheap but excellent service and no quibble getting my club discount of 10%.

Hi, how old is your van please?
I’ve been told they only offer the 10% discount at Liverpool if you bought the van from them?
or
if it’s under three years old??
Something like that. They don’t make it clear.

I didn’t buy it from them and it’s now 4 years old. They have me a quote for the service after which I asked for my 10% discount which they honoured without question.
Very happy with their work.

Liverpool are pushing service plans at the moment, they emailed me this week with a discounted 2 service offer but I have deleted it now and can't remember how much the discount was.
