just what is the service schedule ??
self employed and have been busy for the last few years but now i have a little more time and the van INSPECTION NOW. So i started checking my service receipts from a mixture of JCT600 in Sheffield and the one on ashbourne road in derby
the engine oil has been changed 4 times in 8 years (sounds about right)
fuel air and pollen filter once in 8 years (that does not sound right)
brake fluid once (but the one in derby told me a week ago it was due a brake fluid change!)
DSG gear box oil done twice !!
no brake pads changed yet so must be getting due, i do around 6000 miles a year so around 50000 on the clock now
what about the oil in the rear diff for the 4 wheel drive ?

is there a definitive service schedule i can look at?

Regarding Oil and Filter, I would prefer these changed annually to be honest.

Nowadays the manufacturers don't really have a "set" schedule - it's based on your miles, time or sensor readings, whichever comes first. So high miles, high use, expect to have an annual service. Low miles, low use, expect to have a service every 2 years. This can vary as well depending on oil quality from the sensors - so could be 19 months rather than 2 years for instance.

A good rule of thumb for most low mile Cali users is a service every 2 years with one being a basic oil and the other being oil and filters.

Expect there to be DSG every 4 years (or 40K) and brake fluid every two years.

The schedule you have above looks more or less fine, could have had an earlier brake fluid but unlikely to have needed a second DSG oil so close.
